Creative writing is a fun way to express your thoughts and emotions.
One form of creative writing is a short story. “A story is like a playground for your imagination,” Lee Overtree, co-founder and creative director of The Story Pirates, told The Week Junior. “It’s a great place to experiment and try new ideas,” Overtree said.
Submit a story!
Write a story from your imagination that is inspired by the Photos of the Week section in The Week Junior. (It can be any photo from any week.) Then go to storypirates.com/theweekjunior to submit your story and have a chance to be featured on an upcoming podcast episode! If the Story Pirates read your story and adapt it, it could look like The Alien That Discovered Banana Bread!
